Mermaids have been part of the mystical universe as long as humans have lived near the sea. Though, no consensus has been made as to whether they are helpful beings or vengeful beasts. In this case, I believe these sailors didn’t respect the lady or her oceanic home as much as she would have liked, so down they went.
The image is approximately 9.5″ by 12″. As with all hand made items, each item will vary slightly.
